Synergy Steppers, the supreme steppers organization in North Carolina, was founded by William and Vivian Perkins in Raleigh. William Perkins grew up in Chicago. Chicago Stepping was part of the fabric of his family and his life. He is highly regarded in the Stepping circles of Chicago and is recognized as a champion of the Chicago Stepping art form.
Synergy Steppers members are unique in their knowledge and training in true Chicago Stepping which embraces the dance steps of the art as well as the etiquette of Chicago Stepping.
The men and women of Synergy Steppers seek to support the endeavors of other Stepper clubs and to be known as the organization whose goals and deeds are truly synonymous with the high standards of dance and etiquette of true Chicago Stepping.
